Check-in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring Police Bazaar, the city’s bustling market. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast, explore the scenic spots of Shillong — known as the “Scotland of the East.” Visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, and Ward’s Lake. Explore Don Bosco Museum for an insight into North East India’s culture. Evening free for leisure or café hopping. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (approx. 60 km / 2 hrs), one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. In Cherrapunjee, visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Eco Park. Enjoy panoramic views of misty cliffs and roaring waterfalls. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Early breakfast, then proceed to Nongriat Village for the world-famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek (approx. 3500 steps – moderate difficulty). Experience the unique natural architecture created by intertwining roots over centuries. Return to Cherrapunjee by evening and rest. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong (approx. 80 km / 3 hrs) — Asia’s cleanest village. Visit the Living Root Bridge (Riwai Village) and the Sky Viewpoint for views of the Bangladesh plains. Continue to Dawki (20 km) to see the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy boating and photography at Dawki. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati. En route, visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most revered Shakti Peeths. Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour ends with refreshing memories of Meghalaya’s natural wonders.
